Rey Mysterio wrestled and defeated his son Dominik Mysterio on this week’s Raw program. Before the WWE Hall of Famer exacted his wrath on Dirty Dom, Zelina Vega of LWO faced Liv Morgan as the champion in a Women’s World Title battle. Unfortunately, Dominik Mysterio’s unanticipated intervention prevented Vega from finishing the task.
After the show, Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio were interviewed by Cathy Kelly. Vega said that if Dom hadn’t gotten involved, she would have won the championship.
“Mixed feelings, as you mentioned. because I had a very good chance of defeating Liv Morgan. She was mine. It seems like I’ve come quite close to achieving the long-desired goal. And Dominik concludes that it’s time for him to join me in my business. On the other hand, you [Rey Mysterio] did take care of that concurrently.
The WWE Hall of Famer then told Vega not to give up on her dreams.
Indeed. Yes, I did. Zelina, you also need to remember that Liv Morgan is a champion because she is so talented. You were on the verge of defeating her. Not even once. That match, I saw it twice or three times. Thus, never give up hope. Maintain that attitude
Rey Mysterio is unwilling to become embroiled in the dispute between Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan.
Rey Mysterio was then questioned by Cathy Kelly about his opinions regarding the situation with his kid and Liv Morgan.
“I… I… I… Like most parents, I would want to keep my distance. since I want to stay out of it. I only came out today to make sure nothing fishy happened after Dom came out during Zelina and Liv’s battle. Naturally, we witnessed what transpired. Dom was evidently there to support Zelina’s victory. That, however, did not occur. Furthermore, she would be the champion right now if it weren’t for Dom. Yes, there are a variety of feelings in the air.
