It’s been a busy summer in west London, with 11 new additions made to Enzo Maresca’s squad. And more new arrivals could be on the way ahead of the 11pm deadline on August 30.

The latest addition to Maresca’s team is Joao Felix, who returns to the club after a spell on loan in 2023. Felix has put pen-to-paper on a seven-year contract with Conor Gallagher moving in the other direction.

Chelsea will also return to Premier League action this weekend with a visit to Wolves on Sunday (kick-off: 2pm). It comes a week after losing their opening game of the campaign, 2-0 at home to Manchester City.

Talks have taken place over the last month with an in-person meeting scheduled in London on Friday with the contents of their conversations now coming to light, as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
