Tip Reiman, a rookie tight end, signs a four-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
On Friday, rookie tight end Tip Reiman was signed by the Arizona Cardinals to a four-year contract.
After spending the previous four seasons at Illinois, Reiman was selected by the Cardinals as a third-round selection (number 82 overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft last month.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound player’s finest quality is his blocking skills, which the Cardinals highly valued considering coordinator Drew Petzing’s run-heavy offensive scheme.
But it doesn’t mean he lacks the athleticism to make an impact on games as a pass-catcher.
In his final season at Illinois, the tight end caught 19 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns despite receiving little passing looks.
