With his contract expiring this summer, Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is up for sale, and Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United all in the running to sign him.
Fabrizio Romano said, in an exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing column, that while Newcastle appears to be making the greatest progress in their pursuit of Adarabioyo, Chelsea and Manchester United have also requested to be updated on the 26-year-old’s circumstances.
Adarabioyo appears to be a very appealing free agent this summer, so it’s not surprise that several teams are interested in signing him—even though Newcastle seems to be the most likely choice because they presumably need him more than Chelsea and United.
Although it may seem improbable that Adarabioyo would start frequently at Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge, he would be well to accept an invitation to advance to St James’ Park.
