Source for the Chicago Bears Shares Horrifying Information About Justin Fields
The Chicago Bears have parted ways with rookie quarterback Justin Fields, after the team moved him to the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier in the offseason.
There has always been a prevailing belief that Fields was well-liked in the Chicago locker room and enjoyed excellent relationships with his teammates, coaches, and front office staff.
However, Tyler Dunne of Go Long is told a very different story by a Bears source.
The insider mentioned in detail Fields’ interactions with Nick Foles and Andy Dalton, two seasoned quarterbacks, during his 2021 rookie season.
“They never shared a moment together. The insider said to Dunne, “It was always Andy and Nick strolling side by side with Justin always behind them by fifteen yards.
It doesn’t seem that Dalton or Foles were at blame either. It was because Fields had clearly shown no interest in having a mentor.
According to Dunne, “there were several arguments among the QBs.” According to one account, Foles turned to face Fields when he noticed the rookie quarterback wasn’t really trying to learn anything from him while they were in the quarterback room. He had his head lowered. Foles had had enough of attempting to be a mentor at that time. The two were unable to tolerate one another.
