The All-Star point guard has invested \$3.3 million of his own money to transform a historic brownstone in Brooklyn into a state-of-the-art shelter for homeless youth.
The new shelter, set to open later this year, will provide housing, meals, counseling, and job training for up to 50 young people at a time.
