Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta maintains that the injuries to Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber have altered the trajectory of the Gunners’ season

“It was a huge blow,” Arteta said in a statement to reporters. From the start, it was evident to all that he would be a valuable addition to the team. The adaptability, excellence, and guidance. and a skill that the backline lacked for us. Losing Thomas was also a devastating blow. Along with him, we also had other ideas about how to play—how to become incredibly adaptable and unexpected. It’s tough that we haven’t had them. It is a pleasure to have them in the building. Gunners manager Mikel Arteta maintains that injuries to Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber have altered the trajectory of the team's campaign

Timber was used as a left-back against Nottingham Forest, while Partey, who was used as a right-back, frequently went inside towards the middle of the park. Despite having a great start to the Premier League season, the Gunners appear to have lost their spark recently as they have lost their last two games against Fulham and West Ham, respectively. To get back on the winning track, Arteta emphasised the significance of playing to the abilities of the players who are available

Arteta stated, “It will depend on the players that we have available.” First and foremost, we must play to each player’s skills. Players shouldn’t do anything that they are uncomfortable doing, in my opinion. That is the first rule we need to follow. We have some incredibly talented players, so play to their strengths and we will win games without a doubt
