After the Rangers announced the signing of Liam Kelly, Hamza Igamane is “close” to finishing his move to the club, according to Sky Sports. Igamane is from Morocco, and the Bears are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign him from AS Far Rabat. Igamane has been linked to a move for a number of weeks, and as the Belgian overhauls the current squad, he has emerged as a key transfer target for Philippe Clement.
Although there were doubts about Igamane’s availability during preseason because he might play for Morocco’s squad at the Olympics, the Gers have persisted in their pursuit of Igamane [Daily Record, 17 June].
