Philadelphia — — Tuesday night, Bryce Harper blasted a home run, Ranger Suárez pitched a seven-hitter, and the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Colorado Rockies 5-0.
In the major leagues’ second complete game of the season, Suárez struck out eight and walked one. Since August 9th’s no-hitter against Washington by Michael Lorenzen, it was the first shutout for a Philadelphia pitcher.
