Amad Diallo joining Birmingham City over Sunderland or Leicester City, in the opinion of former England international Carlton Palmer, would be preferred by Manchester United.
Playing his first minutes of the season last weekend against Nottingham Forest, the winger—who can also play centre defense—made his debut. Last season, he had a productive loan stint at Sunderland under Tony Mowbray, making 43 appearances and scoring 14 goals.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Diallo may make another move in January due to links between Leicester and the Black Cats. Palmer has expressed his opinion that the hiring of new manager Mowbray could influence Diallo’s singing to the Blues’ advantage.
