The Dallas Cowboys won’t budge an inch: They want Ezekiel Elliott back.
A recent meeting between the team management, the player, and his representative is making fans and media turn their heads to see what is happening in Arlington, Texas.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Cowboys front office, Elliot, and his agent, Rocky Arceneaux, met on Wednesday to explore the possibility of the running back returning to the team’s ranks.
According to Rapoport and his NFL Network colleague Tom Pelisero, there is no agreement yet, but the parties are getting closer to an understanding.
Zeke unexpectedly left the Cowboys in the 2023 offseason after a drop in productivity. At the time, the team explained that they had let Elliott go “out of respect” for his history with the team, although ulterior motives point to a move to open up salary cap space for a new generation of players.
