the most recent transfer rumours from the Premier League as moves between Manchester United and Newcastle United are being discussed before the January transfer window closes.

According to reports, Erik ten Hag is eager to get back together with Ajax forward Brian Bobbey in order to expand Manchester United’s alternatives up top.

Just a few weeks after Ten Hag left the Eredivise club to take over at Old Trafford, the former manager of Ajax expressed interest in the once-capped Netherlands international. After a challenging year at RB Leipzig, Brobbey made the decision to disregard the Red Devils’ offers and head back to the Dutch metropolis.

“Manchester United wanted me, but I really wanted to return to Ajax permanently,” he remarked in explaining his choice. My agent, Jose Fortes Rodriguez, even waived his substantial resale percentage to make this happen. From Man Utd, Erik ten Hag gave me a call. My agent could have made millions, and I could have made many times as much as I did at Ajax. However, we had already decided that we wanted to visit Ajax.

Brobbey has recovered his form during the first half of the season, despite his team’s inability to reach their typical heights. In 25 appearances across all competitions, he has scored 13 goals and provided four assists. Old Trafford is apparently paying more attention to the forward because of his form, and the Mirror now claims that the 13-time Premier League winners have been asked to approve a deal for Ten Hag.

The 3AM Verdict: Ten Hag is going with the tried-and-true approach once again at Old Trafford in an attempt to turn around the Red Devils’ disappointing season. For Rasmus Hojlund, the Dutch manager does need competition, and Brobbey is undoubtedly just one choice being considered.

Concrete negotiations were held with Dortmund. Bayern has made a query over him. Frankfurt has him as a target. He has been scouted by Newcastle. Additionally, Fulham, Brighton, Everton, Sevilla, and Villarreal have him on their roster.
