Having secured a 25% investment in United, the CEO of Ineos met with Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, and paid a visit to the Carrington training centre. With transfers and recruiting at the top of his priority list, he will be in charge of football-related affairs.

The entire impact of the Ineos investment will be felt during the summer window, even though the January one is still open. Ratcliffe, Ten Hag, and United will all want to take advantage of the summer to add the necessary players to round out the team. The manager’s initial impression is that everyone will essentially be in agreement.
