NASCAR Legend Tony Stewart Speaks Out on Shock Exit, Reveals What He Misses the Most.

In a candid interview, NASCAR legend Tony Stewart opened up about his unexpected departure from full-time racing and what he misses the most about the sport.

The three-time Cup Series champion, who made his final full-time appearance in 2016, reflected on his decision to step away from racing and the challenges that followed.

Stewart admitted that although he no longer competes at the highest level, he still feels a deep connection to the sport. “What I miss the most is the camaraderie and the adrenaline of racing,” he shared. “Being surrounded by a team, working together towards a common goal, and the rush of competing – that’s something you can never fully replace.”

The 53-year-old also discussed the emotional aspect of stepping back from the driver’s seat. “It was a hard decision,” he continued. “But when I made the move, I wanted to focus on other projects and enjoy time with family. Yet, racing is in my blood, and it’s not something you just walk away from entirely.”

Though he’s no longer racing full-time, Stewart remains deeply involved in NASCAR through his team, Stewart-Haas Racing, and continues to support the sport in various capacities. Fans continue to celebrate his legacy, as he remains one of the most respected figures in NASCAR history.
