Max Verstappen has disclosed that during the British Grand Prix weekend in Formula 1, he has been tending to a hand issue.
The leading driver in the world championship was seen on Saturday at Silverstone with a bandage on his right hand.
The Dutchman revealed what had transpired, stating that the day before track action started, he had injured his finger.
He qualified by saying, “I just sprained my finger a little bit.” I’ve been having some hand discomfort. I couldn’t exactly squeeze it properly at first, but today it was better. But things are all right now.
Verstappen stated that there was no apparent reason for the injury, therefore he was unclear of what had initially caused it.

Verstappen, who is strong friends with Lando Norris from McLaren, will start the British Grand Prix ahead of the latter.
Verstappen also discussed how strong the ties are to the British driver, expressing his obvious excitement at seeing Norris turn in his greatest qualifying performance of the year.
When asked why he was so glad to see Norris, Verstappen replied, “It’s because we are good friends.” Of course, I don’t know Oscar all that well just yet. He resembles the coming generation. We also never ran into each other when karting.
However, I’ve been getting along great with Lando for a while now. Additionally, we both approach life with a really laid-back mindset, which is pretty similar.
In addition, he is genuinely kind. I already know how excellent he is. So, it’s good to see him meet that qualification.
