Marcus Rashford, a forward for Manchester United, will have to pay a two-week fine for missing training and going out.

Marcus Rashford, a forward for Manchester United, will likely receive a £650,000 fine for skipping training last week and going out to parties, per the Sun.

After missing practice on Friday owing to sickness, the England international was not present for yesterday’s FA Cup match against Newport County.

But Man United has discovered that, following his flight to Belfast to see his pal and Larne FC star Ro-Shaun Williams, he went out on the town on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Due to this, the Red Devils star was unable to attend Friday’s training session, and he will get discipline.

Although it’s unclear what else manager Erik ten Hag has planned, the Old Trafford team has chosen to withhold his £325,000 salary for a period of two weeks.

Rashford has previously experienced the Dutchman’s disciplinary actions; in 2022, he was left out of the matchday squad after arriving late for a team meeting.

The Man United academy graduate faced harsh criticism as well for going out to party the night following their November 3-0 loss to Manchester City.
Rashford’s recent misbehaviour will cost him, and his poor performance hasn’t made things any better.

The 26-year-old has contributed to a goal in each of his previous four appearances and has four goals and two assists in 26 games across all competitions. However, his lack of discipline may force him off the roster.

Man United must start their league campaign on a high note when they return to action on Thursday at Molineux Stadium against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League. On Sunday, they visit West Ham United.

After 21 games, they are now ranked ninth in the table. If they wish to play European football the next season, they will need to start accumulating points on a regular basis.
