Michael Olise, a winger for Crystal Palace, reportedly “would prefer a move to Manchester United over Chelsea.”

In July 2021, Olise left Reading to join the Eagles for a reported £8 million.

In 80 appearances for the Premier League team, he has contributed 20 assists and 11 goals, including five goals in nine games this season.

Chelsea nearly signed the 22-year-old last summer, and he has been heavily linked to a move away from Selhurst Park in recent months.

After Palace threatened to sue the Blues for pursuing the winger, Olise ultimately inked a new four-year deal in south London.

Though Chelsea is still interested, there is still a lot of discussion on his future, with Manchester United being highly linked at the moment.

The Red Devils’ chances of catching the France Under-21 attacker have significantly improved.

Olise “would favour a move to Manchester United over Chelsea,” according to Football London.

Olise would rather play for the Red Devils than the Blues again since he is a Red Devils fan. He played for the Blues from the age of seven to fourteen.

Although Olise’s new contract has a different provision that kicks in at the conclusion of the season, it still has a £35 million release clause that Chelsea activated in the summer.

The new release clause will cost “much more” than £35 million, according to the newspaper.

Olise’s progress at Selhurst Park is reportedly being closely monitored by United, while Chelsea is also “expected to pursue” him.

Victor Osimhen of Napoli is still Mauricio Pochettino’s top choice when it comes to a new striker.

Olise would join a crowded Stamford Bridge team, but Erik ten Hag would undoubtedly make him a starter.

Jadon Sancho is unlikely to be used by the Dutch manager once more, and Antony has performed terribly since coming from Ajax in August 2022 for over £80 million.

This season, Antony has contributed zero goals, so if he wants to maintain his starting position at Old Trafford, he will need to make significant progress.
