Following Manchester United’s stalemate with Tottenham, Roy Keane voiced his reservations about the team.
Attending Sunday’s 2-2 draw between Manchester United and Tottenham, Sir Jim Ratcliffe received some counsel from Roy Keane while he awaited the Premier League’s approval of his 25% acquisition. After the transfer window closes in February, it is anticipated to be verified, although Keane has already stated that the recruitment department must change under the new administration.
Because of their dubious spending in recent years, United must be mindful of Financial Fair Play this month. Ratcliffe will be cautious of this once he gets his bearings. He is expected to take charge of the team’s athletic department once his acquisition is finalised. He has apparently already voiced criticism about Casemiro’s signing.
This will involve the hiring division, which Keane stated had underperformed in the last few windows. Many people believe that the appointment of a new sporting director by Ratcliffe and right-hand man Sir Dave Brailsford will be a step in the right direction for the Red Devils.
Keane, who has listed three things that Ratcliffe needs to address when he gets here, will also be pleased. Keane told Sky Sports, in response to a question about advise for Ratcliffe, “How long have you got?!?” No, it will require some time. We hope that better decisions will be made at the top of the club, especially regarding the contracts they’ve been awarding, the fees they’ve been paying, and the recruitment that hasn’t been good enough.
