When Manchester United visited Newport, supporters rushed there in the most inventive ways to watch Erik ten Hag’s team play.
With a 4-2 victory over League Two team Newport County on Sunday, Manchester United guaranteed their spot in the FA Cup fifth round.
Bruno Fernades and Kobbie Mainoo scored two goals in rapid succession to give them a 2-0 lead in just 13 minutes in Wales. But following goals from Bryn Morris and Will Evans, Newport rallied admirably and levelled the score.
Thanks to goals from Rasmus Hojlund and Antony, United rallied nicely and ensured there was no cup departure. In the following round, they will play away from home against either Nottingham Forest or Bristol City.
