On Thursday night, Jordan Henderson finished his move to Ajax.
The CEO of the Saudi Pro League maintains that “no one is to blame” for his abrupt resignation.
Football is evolving, and managers can no longer depend solely on their reputation. Look at the Golden Generation—everything is just getting started.

The impact of Jordan Henderson’s decision to join Ajax after just six months in the Middle East has been minimised by Saudi Pro League CEO Saad Allazeez.

After Henderson decided to quit his contract with Al-Ettifaq earlier this week, his transfer to the Dutch powerhouses was officially announced on Thursday night.

Allazeez feels that this is an exceptional incidence rather than a typical problem for new players joining the league, despite the fact that his quick departure coincides with difficulties settling in Saudi Arabia.

Allazeez added, “This is just part of football, all across the world and life, across all careers,” in response to Henderson’s departure. Even with the best of intentions, people don’t always adapt or settle, which can affect performances and cause annoyance for everyone.

“Jordan is a nice guy, and it’s unfortunate that things didn’t work out for him, but he would be the first to acknowledge that he received respect and full support.” Everyone made an effort, so nobody is at fault.
