Fabio Carvalho’s time at RB Leipzig didn’t work out, and the team’s sporting director has blamed the Liverpool player for his unsatisfactory loan.
The devotion of Liverpool player Fabio Carvalho has come under scrutiny following his unsuccessful loan transfer to RB Leipzig.
The 21-year-old Carvalho played for the Bundesliga team for the first part of the season while the Reds tried to get him some much-needed playing time. With so many attacking alternatives available to him, the loan seemed to be the ideal option for Jurgen Klopp.
However, in all competitions, the Portuguese midfielder only made 15 appearances, most of which came off the bench. Rouven Schroeder, the sporting director of Leipzig, has since stated that the reason for the loan termination was due to his attitude.
