In the race to replace Mo Salah, Liverpool is prepared to challenge Manchester United.

Liverpool is ready to compete with Manchester United in the race to replace Mohamed Salah.

This is from Transfers in Football. According to them, Liverpool is now “at the table” for Michael Olise, the star of Crystal Palace.

In the race to replace Mo Salah, Liverpool is prepared to challenge Manchester United.

Over the past few weeks, Manchester United has been strongly linked to Olise, but it appears they are not the only ones. Liverpool is interested in the player as well and sees him as Mohamed Salah’s eventual replacement.

After all, that is a significant issue at the club. Liverpool will eventually need a successor for the Egyptian, especially if reports that he is leaving for Saudi Arabia are true. Currently, Liverpool does not have one.

As far as replacements go, Olise would be about as fantastic as it gets. However, he won’t be inexpensive.

Even though Palace won’t want to sell, especially this month, they will be under growing pressure. Not to add that United and Liverpool’s combined interest will just drive up the cost.

But ultimately, Salah’s replacement won’t be inexpensive. Liverpool will simply have to put up with that.

Liverpool is rumoured to be interested in Crysencio Summerville of Leeds United. Or would that be in place of Olise? or additionally? Or maybe just as the Palace star’s backup.

However, it seems like the Reds are considering their right side of the future. Summerville and Olise would probably cost far more and have very different degrees of experience. Olise would most likely be preferred by Liverpool.

But United will fight them for him, making it a difficult one to do. Fans can likely rule out any possible January move, too.

Olise will be one to watch for the summer instead – and potentially a very exciting signing down the line for Liverpool.
