Done trade: Lakers has just landed a sharpshooter whom LeBron James has previously complimented.

In the first round, Los Angeles also acquired Dalton Knecht, a sharpshooter whom James has previously complimented. The Lakers are quietly assembling a strong group of undrafted guys who will compete for slots on the roster. The big man from NC State, Mohamed Diarra, is also being signed by Los Angeles, according to Jon Chepkevich of Draft Express.

 

 

 

Chepkevich clarified in a June 28 message on X that “NC State’s Mohamed Diarra has agreed to join the Los Angeles Lakers for NBA Summer League, I’m told.” “The 6’10” French big man has incredible energy, is a vicious rebounder, and really elevated his game in March to support the Wolfpack’s runs in the ACC and NCAA Tournaments.”
