Just over a year ago, the Green Bay Packers made the decision to let Aaron Rodgers leave. In fact, by trading Rodgers to the New York Jets a few days before the 2023 NFL Draft, the Packers officially ushered in a brand-new era in Green Bay.
Despite having just played four plays prior to an Achilles injury that ended the season, Aaron Rodgers has made headlines. He has now verified a significant rumor that went widespread over the off-season.
“For this reason, when Bobby approached me and asked if I would consider running with him, I was intrigued. I responded, “Are you serious?” I play football, for real. However, I adore our nation, and I would be honored to contribute to its restoration to its former glory,” Rodgers remarked. “I gave it some thinking. I loved Bobby, so of course I gave it some thinking, and I was curious to hear his thoughts.
“I think that’s what I’ve done since I was a kid, and there’s been a lot of great people in history who are super patriotic,” Rodgers declared without a trace of irony.
