Max Verstappen has disclosed that following his collision with Lewis Hamilton at Silverstone in 2021, he had a chronic health condition.

During the 2021 season, the Red Bull driver and Hamilton were in a race for the world championship, with one of the most exciting races being the British Grand Prix.

Verstappen and Hamilton had been fighting for the race lead when they had crashed at Copse Corner.
The Dutchman eventually crashed into the tire wall at 180 mph as a result of the incident, and Hamilton won.

In an interview with the Red Bull Bulletin, Verstappen said that the crash had affected him for a few months following the event.
