According to the John Force Racing Team, the Funny Car’s engine blew apart, causing it to crash into a concrete wall at over 300 mph.
The John Force racing team announced on July 5 that Force, 75, had sustained a cracked sternum, a traumatic brain injury (TBI), and injuries to his right wrist in the crash.
