The previous season, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell’s squad built a 17-point lead over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC final game, only to watch it dissipate against a determined opponent. This left his team just short of the Super Bowl.
Campbell is eager for the full season of success after the little taste of it. At the end of the squad’s minicamp this week, the head coach of the Lions told reporters that the team may win it all this time and that they would return the following season.
According to Colton Pouncy of The Athletic, Campbell declared, “I want the whole enchilada.”
