Derby County has made an offer for Olaf Kobacki, a winger for Arka Gdynia, according to a Football League World report.

The Pole, who scored 16 goals in all competitions last season as his team finished third in the Polish Second division before missing out on the playoffs, is being pursued by both Norwich City and the recently promoted Rams.
Kobacki joined the Bulldogs in 2022 after leaving his own country to play for Italian team Atalanta, for which he had left at the age of 16.

After his team lost out on a spot in Poland’s top division, the 22-year-old appears certain to depart after adding seven more assists to his already excellent goal total.

Although Kobacki’s repurchase clause is with his former team, Atalanta, the English Championship is thought to be Kobacki’s likely destination.

Derby has already made some purchases in an effort to bolster their team in preparation for their return to the second division. Ben Osbourne has already committed to Pride Park, while Kayden Jackson of Ipswich Town will sign when his contract with the Tractor Boys expires.

The goal of the Canaries is to advance past their playoff semi-final loss from the previous season by strengthening their team. José Córdoba, a center back from Panama, has already cost City more than £3 million since manager Johannes Hoff Thorup took over.

The Carrow Road team is reportedly interested in playing in the Premier League and could lose 13-goal scorer Jonathan Rowe.
