Deal almost: Derby County are almost to land a goal-scoring winger’ in the European transfer rush…

‘To sign goal-scoring winger’ is Derby County’s ambition in the European transfer rush.

Derby County and Norwich City are apparently in competition to sign left winger Olaf Kobacki from Arka Gdynia

Olaf Kobacki, a 22-year-old left winger, is apparently up for transfer, with Derby County facing Norwich City.

Because to his season-ending 13 goals and 5 assists for Arka Gdynia in 32 games last season, Kobacki has been drawing attention from scouts in the Polish second division.

The local media stated that “the bitterness was enormous” and that “in the situation of playing another year in the second division, Arka must save budget and the sale of its most valuable players is inevitable.” However, his club must sell this summer after failing to win promotion to the top flight.

According to reports, Kobacki “has already been sold to a Championship club,” and according to Interia Sport, Norwich and Derby have made approaches. The player may find it difficult to obtain an automatic work visa to play in the UK, although Derby may utilize one of their wild card slots for an international signing. Atalanta is also thought to have a buy-back option after allowing the player to depart Italy two years ago.

Kobacki played youth football for Poland after rising through the ranks at Lech Poznan. Before permanently joining Arka, he spent five years with Atalanta, including a period during which he was loaned to the team.

The 24-year-old striker Karol Czubak of Arka has also been connected to a transfer to the derby county.
