Trade news: Browns’ 1,000-yard running back is a possible trade candidate after…

Although Nick Chubb’s comeback is imminent, Jerome Ford, the running back for the Cleveland Browns, is coming off a great season and may find himself in a new position.

After Chubb was hurt in Week 2 of the previous season, Ford assumed the leadback responsibilities. Despite having a very light workload as a rookie, Ford amassed 1,132 yards in total (813 running and 319 receptions).

Ford was inconsistent at times, averaging only 4.0 yards per rush. Chubb will make a comeback at some point during the upcoming season, and the Browns have added some experienced quality to their running back unit. According to Randy Gurzi of Fansided, Ford might end up getting some draft capital as a result.

Browns Are Sure About Jerome Ford
When the Browns’ bell-cow back, Chubb, hurt last season, they found themselves in a difficult predicament. Ford has been commended by the group for helping to right the ship, though.
On May 1, Stefanski stated, “Jerome has done a nice job,” while making an appearance on Browns Daily. “He had some really significant moments for our football team [in the previous season].” When we needed him, he came through with big plays. We’re happy about it.

Ford and Foreman, a seasoned back who has demonstrated he can contribute if his number is called with tough yards, may be the players who decide the outcome.

Due to a knee injury, Hines missed the entire season last year. As a receiving back, he will probably be more useful on special teams.

Browns RB Nick Chubb Completes Rehab Before Schedule
Chubb is anticipated to play again in the upcoming season following two knee surgeries. The precise time frame for his comeback is yet unknown, though. Chubb appears to be ahead of schedule based on social media posts about his rehabilitation.
“I had to even ask which knee it was again,” he said. Brad Lester, Chubb’s trainer, recently told Cleveland.com. “The left one,” he uttered. “It’s good that I can’t even tell,” I remarked. I think he’s considerably ahead of schedule.

Chubb has an outstanding resume, and his absence is greatly felt. In 77 career games, he has accumulated 6,511 yards and 48 touchdowns, ranking him as the fourth-leading rusher for the team. His average is 84.6.

This offseason, Chubb’s deal was modified with the Browns. Because of the strong incentives, Chubb will be compensated based on his performance once he rejoins the field.
