Part of the fun of going to a baseball game is getting to catch a foul ball. When he caught a ball on Tuesday night, one Orioles fan was in the right position at the right time.
The Baltimore Orioles suffered a hard-fought 3-2 loss to the Cleveland Guardians on Monday night.
Even though the Orioles suffered a terrible loss, one fan was able to leave Camden Yards with a smile on their face.

At first, the broadcasters believed the fan had made the catch with his hat. But as they looked more closely, they saw that he had done it with just his hands. Needless to say, these are incredibly amazing displays of feline grace.
The fan was in high spirits after making the catch, and the Camden Yards crowd gave him a warm standing ovation. The fan was able to go home delighted despite the Orioles’ loss since he made the game-winning play with just one hand while his other hand was restrained.
One of the ballpark’s deepest sections happened to be the exact spot where he was at the perfect moment.
The fan was extremely fortunate to be the only person in that area, since it meant he wouldn’t have to deal with any opposition from other spectators in order to catch the ball. He’s also lucky that he didn’t spill his drink or phone, as that may have had disastrous consequences and probably wasn’t worth the baseball or instant fame that would have followed.
However, he made a fantastic catch and stole the show rather than mishandling the bag.
