ARSENAL MANAGER FOR SALT BAE FEEDS

Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta

By going to the Salt Bae restaurant, where the chef placed a piece of steak in his mouth and uncomfortably put his hand on the Spaniards’ shoulder, Arteta stunned the entire globe.

I’m feeling shaken.

Was he aware of his location? Was he aware that he was being filmed by a video crew? How came this happened and no one stopped it?

To be honest, I have no idea why football stars are drawn to the silliest restaurant concept to come along in a generation.

I sincerely hope it was a sophisticated, “organic” tourism campaign for the area.

Regarding Arsenal, the news has truly ground to a halt. In terms of excitement, not much is happening. Some have sent me ITK chattes.

about Victor Oshimen. Simply said, I don’t think signing him fits into our summer budget or Arsenal’s willingness to take a chance on a foreign acquisition.

We require:

Two central midfield players, minimum
A flexible defender
a formidable winger with incredible speed
A substitute goalie
An offensive player
The £120 million we spent on Victor Oshimen does not allow us to sign all of those players. He feels like a Manchester United signing. His talent hasn’t won me over. If I were dreaming, Ivan Ferguson would be my choice over Ivan Toney. Compared to the link with the prolific Nigerian, the Zirkzee link felt lot more Arsenal-like.

The main worry I have this window is all the rumours that seem to be circulating regarding players joining the team.

Where are my exiting player rumours?

Reiss? Eddie? ESR? A portion? Ramsdale? Not even a whisper.

This may or may not relate to skill issues. It appears that the major teams under Premier League pressure also need to double-check their financial records. The Chelsea campaign to blow every dime on the planet has ended. Loan fees are beyond Newcastle’s means. Due to the summertime sale of Harry Kane, the Spurs are the only team with a clean sheet. Although there’s no reason to rule out events occurring later in the window, it becomes more and more likely that there won’t be much movement in or out.

All I can hope for is that Edu begins organising his summer plans so we can get things done quickly.

Alright, I’m done. I wanted to run something past you before I leave. At some time, I plan to combine all of the Le Grove pieces into a more premium format. (newsletter / podcasts / patreon). I don’t get the organic ad game that has killed newspapers, and maintaining my own website turns out to be an expensive venture due to server expenses, crap breaks, etc. Despite the fact that I am fortunate to have a highly devoted readership, I would much rather take the Arseblog / Swiss Ramble route to advertising by avoiding it altogether.

Contributions would be required. Although I’ve always wanted to keep this completely free, the truth is that writing the roughly 3,000 posts a year isn’t expensive for me. I would include all of the podcasts in it and offer a tonne of free work. In addition, I would make an effort to support the heroes who contribute to the site’s lively comments section. But before I took any action, I wanted to hear your opinion. So please feel free to leave a remark or send me an email with your ideas.
