Kaoru Mitoma, a Japanese winger, has been linked to Arsenal.
Due to his performances for the Seagulls, the 27-year-old winger for Brighton & Hove Albion has caught the eye of the North London club, and Arsenal may attempt to make a bid for him at the end of the current campaign.
Arsenal is reportedly in the lead to recruit the Japanese international, ahead of Manchester United and City, according to a report from Fichajes. It will be intriguing to see if the Gunners can prevail in the race for his contract since the two Manchester clubs are also eager to get him.
Mitoma will give the team more flair and pace, but Arsenal has to improve its wide players. Because of the lack of depth in the team, Mikel Arteta has not been able to rotate his attackers. The Spanish manager could rest players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka more frequently if he signed a top-tier winger.
With his unpredictability, Mitoma, a proven performer in the Premier League, has the power to completely change Arsenal’s performance in the last third.
It comes as no surprise that Manchester United is also interested in the player.
