Another outstanding candidate has joined the Crimson Tide’s expanding recruiting class.
Dijon Lee, a four-star cornerback prospect, made his commitment to the University of Alabama football team public today. Today around 2:30 PM ET, Lee made his announcement in real time during a 247Sports YouTube video.
Lee is ranked as the nation’s fourth-best cornerback prospect.
In his live announcement, he discussed his decision to attend Alabama rather than other prestigious universities.
I chose Alabama because of the wonderful relationships I established with all of the coaches and players, Lee said to 247Sports. “I felt at home the moment I arrived and instantly connected.”
Lee had earlier declared himself thrilled about the possibility of joining Alabama.
“It’s just different out there,” he had previously said to 247Sports. “Everything about this place is unlike any other place I’ve been.” They have an absurd tradition, win a ton of national championships, and sign more players than anyone else to the NFL.

After making an official visit to Alabama this month, Lee became the tenth prospect to pledge. According to 247Sports Team Rankings, Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class is presently ranked as the second best in the nation. They trail Ohio State by a narrow margin.
