The NBA Cup opponents of the Indiana Pacers for the next season…

In the second year of the in-season competition, the Indiana Pacers are aware of their opponents in the group play games leading up to the NBA Cup. The Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, and Detroit Pistons will join the Pacers in East Group B, according to the announcement made by Myles Turner on ESPN.

The Pacers will play on the road against the Bucks and Raptors and home the Heat and Pistons.

With some crap about a gameball thrown in between during the regular season, Indiana defeated Milwaukee in the IST semi-finals in Las Vegas and then defeated them in the NBA playoffs’ opening round, potentially adding another chapter to the growing rivalry between the Pacers and Bucks.

When asked about his feelings over his team’s group, Turner responded, “I’m looking forward to being back in Vegas next year.”
Previously known as the IST, the NBA Cup was a lot of fun to watch early in the previous season. It gave games in November and December, which can be a dull period in the NBA regular season, some extra stakes. Before losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in the championship game, the Pacers defeated several of the top teams in their conference, including the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, and Milwaukee Bucks.
