Clark “seemed to make a flopping gesture at Vanloo, and the two exchanged words,” according to The New York Post. Clark was heard asking Vanloo to “stop flopping” in a video.
According to Athlon Sports, the refs were “distracted by something going on at another section of the court,” which is why Clark was not given a foul for the shove.
Athlon Sports claims that during what the website called a “frustrating” first half for the Fever, Clark once “mocked” Vanloo.
Another clip from the first quarter reveals Clark breaking free from Vanloo’s defense to make a three-pointer.
“Don’t fall for that,” the referee remarked after calling a foul on Clark at another point in the game.
