Brandon Sosna, the senior director of football administration, became the second member of the Detroit Lions front office to join the Washington Commanders in an offseason post last month. It is impossible to overstate Sosna’s contribution to the contract extensions that were reached with Amon-Ra St. Brown, Penei Sewell, and Jared Goff this offseason because he was a leading man in those talks.

Charlie Adkins is going to be the Lions’ new Senior Director of Football Administration, according to ESPN’s Seth Walder. Adkins has been employed with the Arizona Cardinals for the past seven years, most recently taking on the role of manager of football analytics and research. Adkins worked as a football operations analyst for the Cardinals before spending the last five years in the analytics and research department.
