Jadon Sancho’s loan deal from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United has been finalised, and the conversations are “no secret.”
In 2021, the England international winger completed his departure from the Bundesliga giants after agreeing to a £75 million ($95 million) move to Old Trafford. With just 12 goals in 82 appearances, the 23-year-old’s life in his own country has not gone as expected.
Erik ten Hag has questioned Sancho’s attitude and dedication to the team, and he has been totally shut out of the game this season. A January swap has long been planned. Although an agreement hasn’t been finalised yet, Dortmund is eager to see a familiar face again.
WATZKE’S MENTION
After it was first anticipated that Sancho would have returned to Germany by now, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke gave an update on the process to Sky Deutschland, saying, “We are in dialogue with Manchester United.” We would like to have him on loan to us. It is not a secret. However, we are not yet prepared to declare the outcome.
