Jones should be back to full strength or nearly so after suffering a PCL injury last year. An identical injury befell veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen early in his career, but he recovered completely. Lamar Jackson also suffered a PCL injury more recently, but he recovered completely. It should be easy for Jones to do so.

After being released, Jones has seen some action, making back-to-back trips to Tennessee and the Cardinals. Having said that, the Titans are unlikely to be his final destination given the addition of wide receiver Tyler Boyd. Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be stunning if Jones signed a contract with Arizona or another team later in the summer.

After all, despite having an injury-plagued season, the former East Carolina Pirate established new career highs for receiving yards and touchdowns in 2022—his rookie season in Jacksonville.
