As he makes his first appearance in the game in almost three months, Thomas Partey has been sighted in training. The Ghanaian, who was instrumental in much of the previous season’s title push and was available for more games than ever before, has been missed by the Gunners. He was a huge asset in the middle of midfield during that campaign.

Although the Belgian showed promise, he will have to contend with Gabriel Martinelli, who entered the game to score twice and cause Arteta some difficulty.
